Online Consultation Terms

1. Online Consultations

We may offer online consultations with our lawyers, registered migration agents, migration coordinators, and/or members of our Client Relations team via video or telephone call (Online Consultation). Online Consultations form part of our Online Services.

By proceeding with an Online Consultation, you agree to our General Online Terms and Conditions published on our Site and these Online Consultation Terms.

1.1 Types of Online Consultations

1.1.1 Discovery Calls

A discovery call is a 15-minute video or telephone call with a member of our Client Relations team. This is a virtual meet-and-greet to:
- Discuss your situation and your Australian migration goals;
- Gather initial information to assess your possible eligibility for migration services;
- Assess your financial capacity to engage professional legal services and to meet the potential costs associated with any applicable migration strategy; and
- Determine whether you may be a good fit for our legal services.

No advice, cost estimates, or legal strategy will be provided during a discovery call. The person conducting the discovery call is not a lawyer or registered migration agent.

1.1.2 Guidance Calls

A guidance call is generally a complimentary session conducted by a member of our Client Relations team, based on a documentary legal assessment already prepared by one of our lawyers in Australia.

During a guidance call, we will:
- Explain your legal position as assessed by our lawyers based on the information and documents you have provided;
- Provide costs and process information based on the legal assessment; and
- Guide you through the next steps if you wish to formally engage our services.

1.1.3 Nurse Registration Consultations

A Nurse Registration Consultation is conducted by a Migration Coordinator, based on a documentary legal assessment prepared by one of our lawyers in Australia.

During this consultation, we will:
- Guide you through your likely AHPRA registration pathway based on the documents and forms you have submitted;
- Explain the process and requirements relevant to your nurse registration circumstances;
- Outline next steps for your AHPRA registration based on the legal assessment completed by our lawyers.

The person conducting the Nurse Registration Consultation is not a lawyer or a registered migration agent.

1.1.4 Legal Consultations

A legal consultation is conducted by a lawyer or registered migration agent. During this consultation, we will:
- Identify relevant legal issues relating to your migration strategy, nurse registration, or business sponsorship;
- Help you formulate migration or registration goals;
- Identify available options and recommend next steps;
- Provide you with legal information relevant to your circumstances; and
- Assist you in deciding whether to formally engage us to provide further services.

1.2 Scope of Consultations

Each Online Consultation (whether a discovery call, guidance call, nurse registration consultation, or legal consultation) is strictly limited to one migration, nurse registration, or sponsorship enquiry per session.

This means we will provide advice or guidance for:
- One individual (e.g., a visa or citizenship enquiry for a single person); or
- One nurse registration assessment for one person; or
- One sponsorship matter (e.g., advice for a business to become a sponsor or about one specific employee’s visa condition).

You cannot use the consultation to ask about additional people (such as siblings, partners, employees, or friends) or multiple visa types within the same session.

1.3 Appointment Confirmation

You must confirm your attendance by accepting the calendar invitation and saving the appointment in your personal calendar (Google Calendar, iCal, Outlook, etc.).

1.4 Cancellation and No-Show Policy

If you wish to reschedule or cancel your Online Consultation, you must provide at least 24 hours’ notice.

- If you fail to attend or cancel within 24 hours, your session may be forfeited, and strictly no refunds will be provided.
- Rescheduled sessions are subject to availability and must be booked within 30 days of the original appointment unless otherwise agreed.

1.5 Strictly No Refunds

Once booked and paid, Online Consultations are strictly non-refundable.

This applies even if:
- You change your mind;
- You decide not to proceed with further services; or
- You fail to attend the session without sufficient notice.

1.6 Accuracy of Client Information

All Online Consultations (including discovery calls, guidance calls, nurse registration consultations, and legal consultations) are provided based on the information and documents you have supplied to us.

You acknowledge and agree that:
- We rely entirely on the accuracy, completeness, and truthfulness of the information and documents you provide.
- We are not responsible or liable for any loss, damage, or incorrect advice arising from:
  - Misrepresentation or omission of material facts or documents;
  - Failure to provide complete or updated information;
  - Information that is later found to be false, misleading, or incomplete.

You agree to provide all relevant information to us in a timely manner and to promptly disclose anything that may affect your legal, migration, registration, or sponsorship position.
